South Sudan ECTN Regulation
10 November 2020
South Sudan ECTN requirements for imports. Juba and transit through Mombasa or Port Sudan.
South Sudan requires ECTN for maritime imports. As a landlocked country, cargo typically transits through Mombasa (Kenya), Port Sudan, or Djibouti.
Requirements: Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading, Freight Invoice, Packing List. The ECTN must be validated before vessel departure from the loading port. The certificate covers the full route to South Sudan.
Transit: If transiting through Kenya, Uganda, or Sudan, verify if those countries require additional certificates. GetCTN can advise on multi-country transit documentation.
